It was lovely to be part of Laura’s Wedding day last Saturday the 28th April, and I wanted to include her big day in the wedding diaries. Myself and the hair team were warmly welcomed into the family home that morning and Marian, Laura’s mum had us all well looked after. Before we knew it the coffee was flowing and the anticipation and excitement was top notch. With a room full of ladies all getting wedding ready, Laura’s daddy Sean ran for the quiet of the next room!
Being a traditional bride, Laura’s brief was for flawless skin alongside a smokey eye. For skin I used the new Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter alongside Nars Sheer Glow Foundation as a base. I also used the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette in order to create a subtle smoked out eye.
The bridal party’s hair was styled by the lovely Sinead from Pin Up Parlour in Lurgan. Laura’s wedding dress was from Pronuptia, Belfast and her maids wore a beautiful dusky pink from Perfect Day. The lovely Marian wore a beautiful mother of the bride dress from Chantilly Lace in Lurgan.
Laura’s reception was held in the stunning Gracehall outside Dollingstown, Co. Armagh where Annette from Look Crafty Events, Lisburn and Elaine from Ditsy Floral Design, Loughbrickland turned the reception into a romantic and intimate setting to exchange vows.
The cake was by Fairy Tree Cakes, Ballyclare and cars from I Do Wedding Cars, Portadown. Stephen Greenaway Photography, Craigavon provided the stunning photographs below for Laura and her Husband.
Best wishes for the future Mr and Mrs Pollock!
